Avoid KVNY while one runway is closed and the other one is shortened. It took me 40 minutes to land and they gave me a number of fly overs and 360s. Go to Santa Monica instead. Very little traffic there.

Signature East was fantastic. I was wary about high charges, even for a small plane (a Saratoga). Signature East only charged $8 plus 10 gals minimum fuel purchase for a whole day (not sure what they charge for overnight). The personnel was super-nice, the line crew was also. Comfortable modern facility as well. I have found my new Go-To FBO at KVNY.

There is NO transient parking for any plane at ALPHA or South of ALPHA. All tie downs are reserved for helicopter & airplane tenants only.
