Conflicting details @ FBO regarding overnight tiedown charges. A prior call to FBO two weeks before, suggested that fueling up would waive your overnight charge, but after fueling up (Self Serve) & staying one night, we were told we needed to pay the tiedown fee. No major issue paying the $20 fee. (Just dislike surprises) The controllers were useful as this was our initial visit. The self serve fuel and the FBO are not in the same location. Confusing for new visitors. Suggest phoning ahead.

Best controllers in the world working at this airport! I fly corporate both domestic and international. I fly my 172 into Donaldson and I must say, these people are hands down the best in the industry!

Vantage and Donaldson FBO's are now one entity. Tower will ask you on landing if you wish to go to Vantage North or South. My not knowing how to make the distinction, they guided me to the north which is where the HQ is situated, and now the location favored for GA.
