Spoke to the owner and he invited me to land and spend the night to visit family. SUPER fine gentleman. There are 2 tie-downs. They may even have ropes, but I brought my own. He said he welcomes visitors. It is disconcerting to see the field from above as it is patched everywhere; HOWEVER, the landing and takeoff seemed smooth. There are no potholes on the field. Owner said he planned to repave it in the future. I have a PA-28 180. Believe it better to land on 32 and take off on 14 even with a mild tail wind as there is a slight grade plus the parking is on the NW side (on the right if landing on 32).

Confirmed today that the airport is private, but open and welcome for use by the public. Patching has apparently caused runway rough spots, but planes are using it daily. I'll report more after I fly in!

Runway still bumpy due to past repairs. It is usable. Lights working at this time. Taxi ways are gravel and not recommend. Tie downs beside open hanger with tractors parked in it. Green mailbox has sign in cards.
