Nov 2025 - SServe 100LL pump and card reader functioning well. Sunday noon, Alert Area A-293, just north of KDED extremely active with students. I was utilizing Flight Following with Daytona Approach, they were nearly constant transmitting vectors and altitudes to students. IMHO elevated hazard without your own ADSB-IN and OUT to share position and watch for traffic. DeLand traffic pattern also active with students, and skydive plane(s) might use intersecting runway. No landing fees. RV7 Omar S.

Feb. 2025 - Self-serve pump at DeLand worked well for me, and the Bonanza before me did not seem to have any problems. Mindy in admin bldg said their 24hr room was presently closed. Flight school T&Go's traffic a little less hectic than my previous visits. DeLand airport is a busy, non-towered airport, with 2 restaurants, skydiving, pilot/owners in hangers, motorized scooters, people everywhere. CTAF is busy, keep your head-on-a-swivel, in the air and on the ground. A Fine Place!

That fuel pump is the worst which I have seen at an airport that size ! Had to swipe the card 3 times last night at 11 pm to fill up the tanks ! It always stops after a couple gallon even I put in 18 gallons! Be aware can't say it more often ! Most unreliable full pump in Florida !! Might get pilots stuck overnight !!!
