November 15, 2025Kbli is my go to airport for cross country practice. Approach to kbli is very scenic. Controllers are friendly and very professional. Pilots need to call out vfr reporting checkpoints. We usually park at Bellingham aviation service and the staff is very friendly and they have a well maintained facility.

September 19, 2025Report Lummi Island, Lake Whatcom, Chuckanut Bay, Wiser Lake, or some other visual reporting point when inbound on a VFR approach.

August 27, 2025If you plan to enter the class D airspace please recall BLI controllers lack radar and must depend on you stating your location using one of the numerous VFR reporting points. They manage IFR arrival, departures in addition to VFR departures and arrivals and they can become quite busy sometimes. Do not be surprised if they deny your request to enter the Class D without referencing a charter VFR point.

ARFF Certification: Ppr for unsked acr operations gtr than 30 pax seats - 360-739-1944.
Birds & wildlife on & in vicinity of airport.
Commercial ramp closed to pvt aircraft.
Flight notification service (adcus) available.
For cd when atct is closed, contact victoria trml on 132.7 or at 604-586-4561.
Landing Fee: Ovr 7500 lb.
Noise Abatement: Fly base leg over water, fly final leg to cross shoreline on runway center line.
Noise Abatement: Fly runway heading to freeway before commencing turn
