i don’t know what happened to this FBO. it used to be my go to spot for journeys to Boston/KBED. but ever since they were acquired by atlantic and they dropped the c.a.a. pricing, their service has completely dropped. today, they were not that busy because of the low wintry weather - maybe 4 active planes on their ramp including mine. i had called ahead for quick turn fuel; when i arrived, the fuel truck was empty, and i was number three in line for gas. i waited a half hour and the truck still was not back from the fuel farm. nobody at the desk to find out what the status of things were. angry crews everywhere. so, i fired up and repositioned over to jet aviation, where they turned me around in 15 minutes with a $3/gallon discount on gas. i was told that i was the fourth airplane to bail on atlantic that morning.

I have been utilizing this FBO since it was constructed. Rectrix I thought did a rather fine job. When Ross bought them service declined a bit. Atlantic personnel are fine enough but when you only require a couple hundred gallons they are in no rush. They are bound to their tenants contractually and put transients to the rear of the queue. I comprehend it’s all about the bottom line but at an airport with 3 FBOs it’s surprising there is that much business that customer service truly doesn’t impact their bottom line enough to matter.

Fine FBO, good costs for a massport airport, personnel organized a rental car, somewhat slow on the fueling and did not reply/read my fueling message, but a little in person follow up and we were fueled and ready to go. Just ensure you do not wait till the final minute for them to fuel you.
