Seymour johnson closed today making approach from north simpler. Office doors allow easy access to bathrooms. Everything is tidy. Been here before and will come in future because its no nonsense self serv with not many planes to maneuver around.

Stopped by W40 twice in last week. First time was a Sunday. The old brown FBO building is now a trauma-hawk base. They have bathrooms for transient pax, but otherwise they control the building (no coffee or galley). Disappointed in this experience. Came back thru on Friday afternoon and completely different experience with new FBO open during biz hours. Good facility, people and fuel prices….not to mention the finest FBO snacks ever (oatmeal cream pies)! Will be back. Best stop from South Florida to New England routes. Only piece missing is weather on ForeFlight.
