Good airport but as other folks have mentioned ... be very cautious with density altitude around here. Short-term facilities are adequate, the upcoming terminal structure will be wonderful when done. Be mindful the complimentary shuttle into town doesn't operate exactly to the schedule. When we took it on a Saturday, it was 5 minutes behind schedule so if you believe you've missed it just hold on a few more moments. Otherwise Uber/Lyft is usually accessible but quite costly ... $30 to the village from the airport so budget appropriately.

Flew into this airport on 8-25-2025. Be cautious of density altitude. Runway is in fine condition. If you're seeking a good meal, Thelma's cafe is a 10 minute walk on the main road to the east of the airport. Good Cafe food.

The restaurant and admin bldg. have been torn down. A temporary portable structure with restrooms and lounge has been arranged. Quite spotless and fine arrangement. You can still obtain the shuttle in the pkg. lot, it arrives about every 25 min. And will take you into town.
