January 13, 2026Stopped in yesterday, December 11 for an Angel Flight patient exchange. The FBO staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Got a crew car for lunch. They made a superb recommendation!

January 4, 2026Had to divert to Statesville because of rapidly worsening weather. The airport managers phone number is not functional after hours, so I was compelled to call the police department to exit the airport environment as there is no gate. Fortunately the Statesville police were quite helpful and showed up quickly to rescue me from the December near-freezing temperatures. Because of building work I'm certain things needed to change but if you are landing afterhours without informing someone in the winter I would divert somewhere else

September 9, 2025No access off ramp after hours. Plan accordingly. Sliced hand open while having to climb over a construction fence to exit airport after walking the entire ramp with only vehicle exit access gates, no coded pedestrian security gates.
