8/12/2025 Hit clouds n rain headed to Cherokee NC from Kosu. Found KRVN in the nearest and ran up the valley between clouded in ridges. Fine runway newer paint, AC restroom couch TV Beverages, perfect stop to wait it out. Thanks again Mark

Good field to land at. I flew in on 12/27 to visit family in Kingsport. Runway was in superb condition. Upon landing, the two gentlemen who ran the FBO were waiting for me on the ramp. They had me taxi over to the fuel pump, where they swiped my card and put self serve 100LL into the plane for me. They then assisted me push the plane back into the spot. Gave me the gate code, showed me where the key to the FBO was should I want to come in after business hours. No fees. Gas was a little higher than some other local airports, but the customer service balanced it by a lot. A cheap, small town alternative to TRI. Stop in a say hello to Mr Finely.
