Made this my midpoint from Jonesboro, Arkansas to home in Warrenton, Virginia. Pleasantly surprised with a totally clean facility with self serve gas. Nobody was present but restroom and crew car was accessible for this brief stop. The approach can be tricky with some minor gusts of wind in my small Shark plane. Runway sits just below mountains on each side. I would not mind at all stopping here again.

Good Airport to stop at. Fuels is a fine price. Facilities are clean and welcoming. Challenge your self to an interesting pattern or approach.

Had to divert here due to weather, very lovely mountainous scenery with elevated approach from the east. Facilities are new with snacks, drinks and lounges. Was able to hangar plane for the night and find a fine hotel. Fuel was reasonably priced. Personnel was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend Tucker-Guthrie for a scenic stop.
