October 13, 2025Flew in for lunch. Healdsburg Taxi Company is long out of business. Managed to, on a Sunday, get Lyft into downtown and later back to airport, for lunch at Acorn Cafe. Verizon had solid reception for cell phone at airport. 3 clicks AWOS worked fine on CTAF freq.

December 7, 2024Advise checking out the noise abatement diagrams prior to arrival/departure; there are specific areas to avoid. Be mindful of traffic climbing out of or descending into KSTS Class D to the south, especially if you are climbing to clear terrain and leave the area eastbound.
