October 5, 2024It's one of my preferred airports as a student pilot. ATC is very welcoming and understanding. Although pattern can get rather busy and quite chaotic in a moment. I'm not departing from here until I get my commercial at least. Generally finest experience always!

August 6, 2024Extremely busy pattern with students, and with only 1 runway. Anticipate tight, no nonsense and high stress ATC instructions. Do not fly here for fun. If you have business I get it.

APT Lighting Schedule: Ss-sr reil runway 03 & 21; papi runway 03 & 21; mirl runway 03/21 opr consly, all other times contact - 623-932-4550.
Ctn: similar aligned runways at luke afb & glendale muni; both aprx 8 mi N.
Fee for charter, travel club & revenue aircraft.
For cd when atct closed, contact phoenix approach at 602-306-2565.
Lrg aircraft prkg 500 ft W of runway.
Noise abatement proc in efct; traffic pat rmn close to airport & S of i-10 hwy. traffic N of i-10 hwy mntn 1000 ft until S - info 602-773-1093.
Runway 03: 100 ft unlgt unmkd E- W pwr lines 1/2 mi S of runway end. dep assigned right crosswind climb straight ahd to litchfield rd or passing 1032 ft bfr right turn.
Runway H1 Lights Edge Intensity: Med intsty.
