January 7, 2026The personnel at Sheltair were fast to assist us get a rental car and as Texas friendly as could be. Kyle and Kathy were exceptionally helpful. Quick to fuel up and cash out. No standing around waiting on them. 2nd time I've flown into Sheltair Denton with this good service.

May 26, 2025I am based at DTO. This airport has become extremely active due to training. It is not unusual to taxi 30 minutes prior to takeoff. I have counted 23 planes in line for departure. The tower does try to accommodate turbine aircraft with an intersection departure if able. We are currently looking for another base.
