January 1, 2026Flew up from KDVT for the day to go to see a home for sale in Vallicito Lake. Professional treatment and nice people. Had a crew car that we used a few hours. I put in gas in it -but was told I didn't have to. 100ll prices are higher than others. Overall a great place and good operation. Pity the FAA doesn't have a tower there. Lots of corporate,medical flights, airlines, and GA planes. Excellent runway too. KPJS.llc N6692R A36TC

December 13, 2025If an airport ever needed a control tower, this is it. Airline traffic, a lot of training aircraft and ga. On calm wind days pilots are using both runways and some make mistakes like taxiing onto the runway while a plane is on short final. Be alert! Corey K., CFII.
