November 14, 2025Athens tower has some of the most professional and polite controllers! I'm based here in a 172, but fly large cabin Gulfstreams all over the world professionally. The guys and gals in this tower are some of the finest in the business! Period!

April 1, 2025I fly often to Athens and for the first time I paused to utilize the facilities / water. Was welcomed so warmly, they offered free cold bottled water. ATC was very pleasant - strongly suggest stopping here for rests
