Stopped at Franklin for a quick fuel stop and discovered the front cowling was coming off. Chuck came out, and installed new rivets — wouldn’t even take payment. Outstanding guy and genuine kindness. People like him keep GA alive and well. (And they have a nice FBO couch)

Stopped here for fuel and biological needs going to FL and coming home. While the fuel is self serve they came over to assist. Everybody I spoke with was extremely fine. It is the kind of airport that makes you want to pull up a chair, talk aviation and watch planes. I will be returning.

Good stop! Fine fuel costs and like others mentioned, it is the sort of place you would want to stay all day and talk quite a bit. What a superb location!
