9-27 is in fine shape. Any cracks have been fixed, nice and smooth.

I flew some friends from church to 61D on for lunch at the Fly Inn, but arrived about 15 minutes after they closed at 1400! Fortunately the wonderful, very friendly staff (Shoot, I forgot her name! She runs the flight school there!) pointed out they have a crew car and hooked me up! We had lunch in town, about a 5 minute drive, at Joe’s pizza & sports bar, nice little cozy place.

We flew in from 06C to 61D for some breakfast and fuel. We called ahead to The Fly Inn restaurant (269-685-1554) to check hours and we were fortunate to talk to Pat Dillion, the owner. He said he will have a table for us and cup of coffee. The breakfast was fantastic and the place had that small town feel. Excellent! Pat even came out to the plane and said he will take our picture and add it to his “plane and pilot” wall of fame. Very cool. We will be back to visit this gem and fuel was very reasonable. No issues with the runway pavement… it is well patched.
