I flew from Detroit City to Grand Haven for a round of golf at American Dunes. I did not have a good solution for transportation to the course and I was stuck waiting for some time for a ride share (Uber). The airport, Earle, came out to meet me on the ramp. Earle was so welcoming and offered to give me a ride to the course. That was so fine of him! The airport is well-kept, gas is reasonable, and the facilities are nice. Thank you, again, for the ride, Earle!

FBO is always locked after hours airport code won’t work because the AM locks it. If the flight school is operating they will let you or drive you to the nearest restroom. FBO isn’t user friendly after hours aka 5pm no courtesy car either

We flew our Lancair into Grand Haven Municipal Airport to spend a couple evenings at Boyden House Bed Breakfast. Some brief telephone issues kept us from contacting Harbor Transit, a van service which would have taken us from the airport without cost. No Uber/Lyft or taxis, so nice Earl at the FBO said, “Come on. I’ll take you.” We got into his private vehicle and he delivered us right to the entrance of the B&B. He declined to even accept a tip. Really fine people, very good FBO facility and lovely town. Kudos to Earl!
