Beautiful mountain airport with an interesting approach and departure. The runway has been newly paved and is in superb condition. Be aware that there are no taxis or Uber service, so you’ll want to coordinate a rental car in advance through Enterprise and have it delivered to the airport. Mornings often bring low clouds that usually don’t clear until around 10 am, so plan arrivals and departures accordingly. Good option for visiting Highlands, NC.

Good airport and fine personnel!! Enterprise car rental in Franklin is more than happy to drop off and pick up vehicles at the airport. Foggy mornings in the mountains, but it's usually clear by 10am. Will certainly return!!
