Condition of the runway as indicated in prior comments. I will add that a preliminary fly-by over the runway to clear the pests off is suggested. No different than any runway in a primarily agricultural or rural locale. There is minimal activity at this airport so the pests are accustomed to having it their way. Perhaps the grass is tastier when it grows up thru the tar?

The runway does have a few shallow areas of missing asphalt, not really potholes, that are easily seen and avoidable, being to left of centreline when landing 34. Not a big deal even for our 182 RG with small wheels. Town is quite entertaining with funky old hotels and historic stores and bars, Certainly worth a trip. Jeep courtesy car was fine.
