August 29, 2025Good airport and fair 100LL cost also. The AFD states landing 28 (uphill) preferred but, fails to mention departing 10 (downhill) ought to be considered.

September 4, 2024Flew into Smoketown on a mid morning weekday in a PA 28. Approaching from the southwest somewhat tough to locate, but we looked for the Dutch Wonderland amusement park and looked about a mile north. No weather information or glide slope indicators but no concern. Transient parking is on the grassy area next to the fuel tanks. Fine FBO, was there just long enough to file our next leg and head out. Very welcoming people. Would suggest using S37.
