Beautiful Desert Valley on the east side of the Warner's no services or restrooms. Left downwind for 02 has terrain. Wind sock left of 02 app. Check runway slope. Airfield is fenced and secured somewhat. Somewhat 2 mi walk into town. Local's slow down and move over, but not everybody on the road is a local.. Approaching from the west, there's a gap in the range just south of fort Bidwell.

Left traffic for 02 gets close to the hills. Gate codes dont work. 2 ish mi walk to town.
