Awesome stop, good fuel. Make certain you have the taxi number because it could be a long wait. We got fortunate and simply asked someone for a ride to the casino/hotel. Do not miss out on Fat Edd's Roadhouse for a meal. I cannot wait to return and visit. Oh and Superman statue downtown....likely 15 or 20 foot tall.

Stopped for four hours coming back from Air Venture 22. Found a clean waiting room with a good couch and chair. Bathrooms were tidy. The self-service pump was operating and I topped off my plane. Thanks to the town of Metropolis for maintaining this neat airport with the mural of Superman on the front wall. Kelsey W.
