For someone who flys backcountry ,this is like an international airport, almost cheating if you call it "soft field" minus perhaps after a major rain

Landed 13 tonight. Winds favored 9, but 9/27 NOTAM’d closed. No X or any other indication 9/27 is closed. Didn’t observe or sense any difficulties with 13 - but in a Pacer taildragger. Small wheels. I’d take most nosewheel airplanes here without concern.
