FBO is a hidden treasure. 100LL is now operational and ample space to park. Crew cars available 24-7 and quite simple to get from FBO. El charo is a hidden treasure in WP, Ozark Cafe is also a fine small place to savor good country dining.

Stopped for fuel around lunch. Ron was good. He offered to assist us fuel up. He provided a few restaurant suggestions. Went to Fish Shack (they have more than just fish). 3 sides and ice cream included! Rested in the crew lounge recliners until destination storms passed. I would suggest this stop!

We recently visited KUNO due to a family emergency. The whole team was very helpful and provided the use of a courtesy vehicle, and even alerted us of deer often near the runway. The FBO facility was really fine. It was super clean and even provided a small lounge and shower amenities, as well as a pilot quarters. The fuel costs were very competitive. The town of West Plains was a few miles South but the highway to get there was a 4-lane and in good shape. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
