Good airfield with many upcoming things. Certainly worth the stop. Nice runways to practice on.

Super fine people at this city owned FBO. Stopped in for fuel enroute to Nashville from AirVenture. The airport manager topped off fuel and could not have been a nicer fellow. FBO is closed on weekends. Runways are a little rough but fine. Prepare to back-taxi as taxiways are closed. Nice spot to land and look around at the former Air Force base.

Runway bumps from a year or more ago have been fixed. Airport manager Corky gives fine service. Good fuel costs. Closed after 4pm on weekdays. Closed completely on weekends.
