August 29, 2023Fuel stop in the RV7 on KBJC-KSFF trip. Wish adventure stopped there, but no luck. Taxiing out to 17 and… right brake blew the o-ring. Watch an RV do slow-speed circles on taxiway can be amusing, but on landing would have been a disaster. What to do? Called the FBO (Kendra) and she sent tug. I took care of fairings, while Michael, resident A&P, took care of hydraulics. Replaced a (6 month old) O-ring. We were on our way in 1.5 hrs. Can’t imagine better. A model small GA airport. Thanks folks!
