October 29, 2025Very fine runway and lounge, self service did not have a grounding spool. Will let the FBO mgr know.

June 9, 2025Fine airport with a good runway and lots of taxi exits. Ample ramp parking with rope tiedowns. FBO was not manned during my visit, but they have a coffee bar, a small Pilot rest area, and good AC. Overall a pleasant visit.

June 2, 2025I was on my way home from the Caribbean to Southern California and stopped at Mexia due to weather. Fuel was readily available and cheap (<$5/gal) compared to my >$6 California price. Ricky at Trim Aire handed me the keys to the Lincoln Continental airport car to drive to town and I had a good meal at Jim's Fried Chicken. Ricky also found a spot for me in the hangar while I waited for the storm to pass! I highly recommend you stop in when passing thru the area and say hello to Ricky!
