The airport personnel were not welcoming. We were new to this airport and did not know where the extra chocks were situated. The manager, when asked about extra chocks, was extremely impolite and patronizing while indicating them.

We enjoyed a fuel stop at this small airport. The FBO personnel were welcoming on the phone but rather strict, although the courtesy car schedule was rigid (also included a $50 charge for overnight). Nevertheless, two helpful fellows offered us a ride when we arrived late. We stayed at a nearby Best Western, but travel choices back to the airport were restricted. We'd think about this a fuel stop in the future to bypass overnight arrangements. BTW, the fuel was the lowest price in the region.

Awesome little Crown Jewel of Texas! With a good Southern. hometown girl running the place you know it's fine! The FBO has all the comforts we need as pilots and operators. The fuel is inexpensive and with no handling or ramp fees. She put together a map/notes of things to do, JW's BBQ, Catfish King, Beverly's Country Cafe; even signed us up to Enterprise Emerald Club so they could deliver a car to have it waiting for my client. My ride, she provided a Ford Excursion.
