August 28, 2023We stopped for fuel and to wait out a storm passing thru N. Illinois. Used the unusually modern courtesy car to drive to Wolfey’s Wapsi Outback and enjoyed some good taco pizza. Used the comfortable pilot lounge, wifi, and phone, as there is no T-Mobile service at this airport.

August 12, 2023Took a XC to take a written test at IIB, went to P&N charter, building is clearly aged and small but the personnel were helpful and accommodating.

October 13, 2022I’ve used this airport several times on long cross country trips. Fine wide, long runway in very good condition. The FBO is well kept and the self serve fuel pump functions fine. Friendly helpful staff, just a nice place to stop. Watch out for the tall antenna a short distance to the south of the airport.
