May 18, 2025FBO was closed when we were there during the day (Juneteenth holiday) but Scott from the maintenance shop next door (Imperia Aviation) came out to greet us and offered us to use his facilities. Not only that, he and his mechanic came out to top off a low tire and would not accept any payment for it. What an amazing guy and amazing service! Affordable fuel too. Highly recommend this location!

October 2, 2023Beautiful weekend in Galax and Mt Airy. Mike had courtesy car ready exactly as he stated he would. A couple pilot in hanger gave good assistance on parking and lounge access. The vehicle is important because there isn't any local transportation so suggest you confirm availability. Quite reasonable to borrow the vehicle and visit downtown. Fun shops and hometown dining. Runway in very fine condition.
