Stopped in on Labor Day weekend for fuel. Plenty of activity for a beautiful September day. Clearly a lot of work had been finished on the runway and taxi way. Self serve fuel equipment is current and well kept with fair prices. Chatted with a few local pilots and they said the new airport manager is doing a superb job. All in all a fine GA airport.

Stopped in Gardner the other day because the fuel pump wasn’t functioning at Orange Muni. Not a thing going on at the airport. Simple access to the self serve fuel and fair costs.

Had to divert here to avoid some thunderstorms. Quite basic facility but very good and helpful personnel. One even drove my father and me to a nearby hotel at no cost. The runway is being redone soon so the airport will be closed for a period but it seems like a fine location for some crosswind practice once it reopens.
