June 22, 2024Huge shoutout to Mike and Jason at the FBO. Took a brief flight down today from KCFO just to get some time in the plane. Landed at KFLY and taxied to the fuel station. After refueling we could not get our plane started and then fuel dumped out of the bottom of the cowling. We’d just had the fuel pump replaced so I was worried something had happened again. Mike took the time to help get us out of the way and then helped us diagnose the problem. Great people and fuel prices. Will be stopping again.

July 10, 2022The FBO needs to get parking service. On landing with positions announced and lights on and committed to landing runway 33 a plane was departing runway 15. I announced my position and intentions to land. Upon landing during the flare a plane was departing. I was in the position to make no evasive maneuvers, the plane did make maneuvers to avoid any accident. My concern is that the departing Aircraft had poor situation awareness and was not talking on the radio stating his direction of departure. waguespackhomes

May 23, 2022Fine spot, runway was repaved around two years ago. If you have ground transportation, make sure to get breakfast or lunch at Mountain View Café in Black Forest. Only about a 15 minute drive.
