Just got checked out by the Desert flying club to fly in there's a 172. Very neat observing all the twin otters and caravans from the Grand Canyon Airlines and especially the helicopters they were everywhere. Runway is ample long and smooth. There is one instrument approach, but we were flying visual. Many people in this airport. Just converse on the radio and you'll be okay. Cool jet, and Tran the parking that's apparently been there for long time. :)

$300 landing charge! The management company for the airport assessed a $300 fee for a touch and go landing on Nov 23rd, 2024 and labeled it a "special event fee." When disputed concerning the lack of a NOTAM filed, they asserted that they had posted notices in their facility and "sent emails" about the charge and declined to reverse it. This seems to be questionable at worst. Be cautious when landing at this airport, you can obtain fuel at Jean or Henderson for the same or lesser cost.
