August 25, 2024Flew into Block Island today from NH this week and it's a charming small airport. Check out the wind turbines on your right as you fly the downwind for 28! Fine little diner right at the airport too. Did not stop for food but looked appealing and simple to reach. Make sure you're on your landing A game since you will have some observers! Shall be returning with my family to see the beach! Very welcoming at the FBO and was informed it's simple to get a taxi into town.

June 18, 2024Super busy field, 5 of us landed at once and were directed to follow the "yellow truck" very pleasant personnel and only a $10 landing/facility charge. Quite fair. Speedy walk to town to get bikes to check out the island. Eatery on the field is worth a visit if flying anywhere nearby!
