The City of Sulphur now has an entirely new self-fueler for 100LL. The City Manager has staged a Crew car that is available on the ramp with keys in the gas-cap. There is an extremely knowledgeable AP/IA on the field adjacent to the ramp in the City Hangar. How friendly? No charge for the inside overnight and wouldn't accept a tip after fueling my airplane on his card because mine was INOP due to a bad magnetic stripe. New pavement BUT, don't trust the windsock until relocated. Good stop!

A quite sensible "off the beaten path fuel-stop". Casino, Camping, Catfish, Asian American, BBQ...it is all available! New pavement and New Titan 100LL fuel system on the ramp. The City Manager has left created police vehicle on the ramp for the take. Keys are in the gas-cap compartment. They do not ask for you to do it, but I have washed it and topped it off with fuel when I brought it back. I am so happy they now have a complete new Titan self-fueler. Thank you Andy!

Made an emergency landing at this field due to a rough running engine. Field says they have fuel but it was out of order.... without NOTAM. Nice neighbour with a welding shop gave us some tools to open up the cowling after a screw was stuck.
