Runway and taxiways are in rough condition. Lighting at night is inadequate. About 10 runway lights function and they are all very dim. Couldn't determine the end or start of the runway so we had to divert to Waukegan.

I visited recently on a weekday. I was low on fuel and thought I was going to be stranded. No lounge access. No personnel on site. No way to get fuel with just a credit card. Instead you must text your info to a number posted on the pump then wait for a response. This could involve a wait, as it did in my situation. Stick to the primary runway (09-27, I believe it was) as the secondary has many cracks and weeds.

Very fine pilots lounge. Spotless, contemporary. Television, spotless washroom and good couches/table etc.
