We were diverted to Reedsburg while inbound to Oshkosh 2025 due to weather. We had not planned on stopping there, but we are surely pleased that we did. What a lovely area to fly into, everything was so nice and tidy. The fuel pumps functioned perfectly. The cost for fuel was good. The personnel at the airport could not be more welcoming. They truly did a fine job spoiling the pilots coming thru for Oshkosh. They serve breakfast pastries, donuts, and were preparing lunch as we were departing.

Good spot to stop in a light plane. We overnighted on our return journey from AirVenture '25. Very welcoming personnel. Stayed at the quite new Holiday Inn Express about a mile distant, and had supper at J's. Both wonderful. (Uber/Lyft is restricted out here, so check beforehand for local Taxis, however the airport ramp & terminal are right on the main road, practically in town.)

Spoke with Bill, Tom, Jim at the FBO. The NOTAM concerning the partial closure (north end of the runway 36/18) has been coordinated up to this point to permit small planes to either taxi west or east on 7/25 then on taxiway a, or east past the opening in the barricade and the "X"and along the north east taxiway loop, then across the north closed 18 runway. It is likely best to call and get the most current information on routing to the FBO.
