This spot has been on my list of locations to visit for many years. I reviewed the RAF briefings and notes on this site. We took an extended journey for a Saturday evening on the isle and it was wonderful. Pireps here are all correct except my son was let down not to discover even one snake!

Lots of ice storm damage on N Fox to be cleaned up. Runway is clear but limbs & trees are down everywhere. Bring a chainsaw & help out if you can.

Had many enjoyable camping trips here! Quite neat and fun experience. Mist often in mornings. Bring what you require plus a bit more just in case of any issues. No cell service except occasional in air or on Beaver Island side. Have fun, but be respectful and responsible.
