Enjoyed a pleasant stopover at 6A4 on a day XC from Cincinnati on 9/10/2025. Airport Manager Dave Garris met us on the ramp and chocked our Archer. He welcomed us warmly, and set us up with transport into town for lunch, and refueled the plane. Top notch service!Runway, ramp and FBO are in superb condition. Gorgeous setting and scenery. Would love to come back for a longer stay. Kudos all around!

Dave the airport manager met us at the plane with chocks in hand. He gave us a tour of the FBO/attached hangar and treated us like family. If departing RWY 7, hang a slight left and fly thru the saddle in the ridge - that way will fly you over Mountain City and keep you away from the higher surrounding terrain. We'll be back!
