The local EAA chapter has a shed just south of the fuel pump with about eight cycles of varying sizes, some instruments and an air pump. They’re all in quite fine condition. Gene, who runs the local EAA chapter, informed us about the cycles and requested a small contribution (there’s a post box in the shed) to finance cycle upkeep and servicing. Note the 2500 foot runway, which appears shorter on extremely hot summer days.

Really fine airport! Fuel is not self serve, by appointment only so its hit or miss. I would highly recommend this destination to anyone!

Amazing spot-- Right on a bike path with access to treks. Camping permitted on the property-- with fire rings and wood supplied. Plenty of food choices available within a mile.
