Fine runway and big parking ramp at west end with chain tiedowns. Wind sock operating fine. Walked 5 minutes to the CV Lodge for lunch. Had a good Ruben , Very nice staff and fine food. On the walk back to the airport found a fine store called the Willows. It has a well stocked variety of antiques,food, furniture, gift items and well done holiday displays. CV is a relatively depressed area but this was a treat to find the restaurant and the gift store. Don't miss the Willows Store.

Overflew twice and could not locate a single windsock. Looks on hangars, the windsock circle was missing the windsock. Not good when surface winds can change quickly.
