Stopped here with a student on a night dual X-C. Fine runway illumination functioned well. Did not require fuel. Used the Pilot's lounge for flight planning back to KCID. Only drawback seemed to be no water pressure in the lounge. Restroom out of order! dinamark CFII

Good small airport with a welcoming manager who provided us a ride to town so we could have lunch. We dined at CJ’s family restaurant on the square and then walked over to Elena’s ice cream shop for a quart of sea turtle ice cream that my wife and I shared. When you are on the square look at the historic second empire court house, it is a walk back in time. If you have opportunity go into the courtroom it is really wonderful. Also you can read about the clock on the main floor. The journey back to the airport was about 1.5 miles and was a fine walk.
