What a pleasant destination! The FBO welcomed us with beverages, light food and had the crew vehicle prepared for a journey to Silsbee. The staff there went above accommodating. Visited the Ice House Museum (a neat part of Americana & Texas history) in town and had a superb midday meal at Sweet Cheeks. Our waitress was charming (Pam) and the food is not to be skipped. If you’re seeking more than the $100 burger, this ought to be on your destination brief list.

What a GOOD group of people. Made arrangements for crew car unfortunately the group that had it was late returning. Diana was Soo kind she loaned me her personal car so I could make my appointment. It’s always fine to visit small airports like this one Reminds me of the gold old days. Thanks again

Awesome Airport! Runway in superb condition, Dale the manager gave me his cell to call anytime I needed fuel. No tie down fees, fuel was a fair price, highly recommended I will be back!
